Goal statement

Training is required to use fall protection systems correctly. The employer is obliged to provide you such training in accordance with the Working Environment Act. Many accidents result in serious injuries, or death due to incorrect use of fall arrest equipment. The user of the equipment lacks the necessary training and does not know the manufacturers’ limitations of the equipment. This course provides users the necessary theory, and training in different fall protection systems, and the limitations set by the different manufacturers.

– Accidents that have happened-Current regulations -Fall protection harnesses-Shock absorbers -fall blocks -hooks -Clearance height – Sliding systems -Regulation locks -Rescue and evacuation – Control and maintenance -Safety rules for working at height
